Client-Side Architecture:EasyFileTools is built on a browser-first architecture. When you edit, compress, or convert documents, your files are processed locally inside your web browser and are not uploaded to our file-processing servers.

1. Client-Side Document & File Processing

When you select or drop a file into EasyFileTools (such as a PDF, photo, or text file), processing tasks are executed directly on your device using client-side JavaScript, WebAssembly, and HTML5 Canvas APIs. Because processing occurs locally:

  • Your file contents, document text, and image pixels are not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
  • We do not create permanent server-side copies or databases of your uploaded files.
  • Document memory is cleared from your browser session when you close the tab, reset the tool, or navigate away.

2. Website Traffic, Analytics & Third-Party Services

While your documents remain strictly on your device, standard web network communications occur to deliver website assets (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and fonts). We may use privacy-respecting analytics and third-party services to monitor site uptime and performance:

  • Analytics: Anonymous pageview metrics, broad file-size buckets, and error counts to identify broken tools. No file names or personal data are collected.
  • Advertising (Google AdSense): Non-intrusive banner ads to maintain free service access. Third-party vendors like Google may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits. You can manage ad preferences in Google's Ads Settings.

3. Local Storage Usage

EasyFileTools uses browser localStorage solely for storing lightweight user preferences, such as your recently used tools list. No file contents are ever stored in localStorage.

4. Contact

If you have questions regarding this Privacy Policy or browser-based processing, please reach out via our contact page.
